Happy Mothers Day!
This is for both my mom’s….
One bought me into this world and the other raised me, I am doubly blessed xo
Marianne is my mom who gave birth to me and welcomed into this world. She has taught me how to love unconditionally. Heck, that’s what she did. She loved me enough to want better for me when she had to put me up for adoption. She has taught me to embrace my humanness and to know it’s all okay. She laughs at her self and has taught me to do the same. She loves to laugh. We have a lot of similarities. When we are together, people will often say “You and your mom are so alike. ” . She has taught me to believe in myself and to believe in love the second time around. She taught me to forgive and find joy in the simple things in life. She taught me to be compassionate to others. “You never know their story” she would say.
Jeanette is my mom that raised me since I was a baby and taught me to love unconditionally. “Not of her blood but of her heart” she always told me that. She loved me and raised me as her own. Heck, that’s unconditional. She taught me that family is most important. We have a lot of similarities. My kids will often say “Oh mom, your turning into your mother” She taught me how to laugh at my own shortcomings and laugh at life. She laughs all the time. She taught me how to forgive and find love again. She taught me to be empathic to people because you never know what’s going on with that person. “You never know their struggles” she would say. She taught me to be full of compassion towards others.
As you can see I am one of the luckiest women in the world. To have these two women in my life as my moms.
Notice the similarities? One is the east coast mom, the other west coast mom. One tall, one short….One blonde, blue eyes. One auburn hair and hazel eyes. As women they share so many of the traits that I admire and respect.
Jeanette and Marianne are very much alike. They are selfless women who made me the women I am today and they love unconditionally. They give so much to their families and friends. They are women that I look up to. I am sooo proud and blessed to have these two mothers.
This mothers day I am honoring my mom’s JEANETTE AND MARIANNE
Thank you to my most beautiful mothers who showed me what it is to love your children UNCONDITIONALLY and to be so courageous in your lives as to give me the continual love and support that you do.
