When life gives you lemons.

We have just entered into the month of July, it’s officially summer.

July is normally the three HHH’s. Hazy, Hot and Humid.  July is a great month to kick back and just relax.

Unfortunately at midlife, we sometimes forget to actually slow down and just relax.

Women in midlife are pulled in many directions, so to just relax feels like a guilty pleasure. Why is it so hard for women in midlife to just relax? Do you feel useless if you do? Do you feel lazy?

Relaxing isn’t being lazy.

Relaxing isn’t an act from exhaustion.

To RELAX is a learned skill.

To actually prepare for and execute.

Well being is part of your overall health. Keeping your immune system up is imperative, especially during covid. Lemons are high in Vitamin C, a natural antioxidant which is known to boost your immune system.  Why not incorporate lemon water into your relaxation time.

Here is my 10 minute challenge, that you can try this month.

Picture this, it’s a beautiful day, 80degrees, a warm breeze flows through your hair. You’re sitting outdoors sipping your favorite summer beverage. Inhale a deep breath, exhale. Can you feel your body just release and let go.

Set your intention for relaxation and pour a glass of lemon water.  With each sip really breathe in the summer. You can add mint or ginger to it for added variety.

Think about it, we wait for these summer months. Usually from October till May.

That’s 7 months of you wishing and wanting. Now is the time.

Your body craves relaxation. Your body needs to stay healthy. Relax and sip to better your health this month.
